Adobe Photoshop Interface Tutorials

1. Adobe Photoshop Workspace
Before we learn to make a product design and get some tips and tricks, firtsly we have to know about Adobe Photoshop Workspace. You can determine Adobe Photoshop workspace by select it via the Workspace menu or by default has been presented by Adobe Photoshop such as the following.
As default Adobe Photoshop work area is divided into several main components as follows.



a.    Menu Bar
Menu Bar contains the main commands to open the file, save, resize images, filters and others. Also it shows the featured keyboard shortcuts such as; New (Ctrl + N), Open (Ctrl + O), etc.
b.    Option Bar
Option Bar contains a selection of tools you choose. For example, if you selected brush tool, size/ diameter and opacity brush shows in the Option Bar.
c.    Document
Document window is a place to edit your image. Document windows is also called photoshop canvas. just like a painter's canvas, where the canvas is to put all of their inspiration. Likewise, the document window in adobe photoshop functions to edit, alter, manipulate, create an object or image design.
d.    Toolbox
Toolbox contains various tools used to edit. Tools has its own group depends on the functional and usability. When you saw the small triangle next to the tool, means that the tool has a sub tool. The tool has a different shape but they have a similar function.
To create a sub tool you can be right click or left click and hold on the tool, then it comes the sub tool.
e.    Status Bar
Status Bar is containing of information about the document
f.    Pallete
Photoshop Palette allows for easy navigation and editing images. To hide / show the palette, use the Window menu, then select the palette to hide/show. You can put frequently used palettes and closing other palettes that are not used.
g.    Pallete Icon
Pallete Icons are pallete informasion that is hidden. If you want to use it, then you can click the icon.
Sometimes we need a large area to work in Adobe Photoshop.
When do the job sometimes we want a spacious work area. To create a spacious work area, you can perform the following commands.
1. Press Tab on your keyboard to hide all component except document window.
2. Press Shift+Tab on your keyboard to hide all component except document windows and toolbox.
3. Set your screenmode to show document area more spacious, you can press F button on your keyboard, or you can choose View > screenmode > choose your needed area. Here is an example of screenmode document using maximized screenmode.
